Target Audiences:
Nebraska Innovation Studio (NIS) is a community-oriented makerspace that serves as a hub for innovators, artists, and entrepreneurs. They have a full metal shop, wood shop, rapid prototyping room, art studio, ceramics and textiles equipment, and more.
On Monday, April 29th, students will get a tour and information about the space as well as a chance to use the virtual reality welding simulation and augment reality welding.
This event is for ETS students from Lefler, Culler, and Dawes Middle Schools only. Transportation will be provided from all three schools. We will drive to Innovation Studios at 3:15, have a tour and welding time from 3:30-5p and return to the schools by 5:15p.
