Featured performer Hanif Willis-Abdurraqib is coming to UNL from Ohio. Hanif writes a lot of impactful poetry about race and music. He was in Chicago this past year at poetry nationals, and blew away the audience by his kindness, his nuance, and the absolute grace in the way he navigates the injustices faced by the black community in America.
