Working with children is tough work. Working with children who display rude and defiant behavior can be even tougher. What do you do if the children refuses to comply? What are some strategies that you can use when kids say “no” or engage
in tantrumming behaviors?

This workshop will address:
- Why kids display defiant behaviors
- Effective Behavior strategies such as timeout, positive practice and many more
- Ways to use reinforcement to increase positive motivation and appropriate
behaviors.

This workshop will also include a “Make and Take” component for participants to make positive behavior supports to use in their centers and home.
