The Schmoker Reading Center Family Literacy Night Celebration
Want to help promote literacy? The Kit and Dick Schmoker Reading Center is proud to present their first (of hopefully many to come) Family Literacy Night Celebration on Monday, October 11th and Tuesday, October 12th, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Each night will feature different activities for both children and parents of the Reading Center.
Approximately 40 families are anticipated to be attending the event over the two days, and we would welcome volunteers. Perhaps you, or your students, would be interested in helping with this Family Literacy Night. The event will be held at the Schmoker Reading Center on East Campus in the Home Economics Building. Volunteer needs range from helping families find their way around the Reading Center to hosting literacy activity stations for children.
