On March 31, Dr. Anne Smith will be a visiting scholar at the Barkley Center and give a research presentation on the Neurophysiological Bases of Speech: Language and Motor Interactions. This presentation is open to interested faculty and graduate students in the College. The presentation will be held on Thursday, March 31, from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m. in Barkley Center 321.

Dr. Smith holds an appointment at Purdue University in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. This is the 2nd Stepp Memorial Lecture, which is funded through the memorials received in memory of Bob and Nancy Stepp and the Barkley Trust. Dr. Stepp was the Director of the Barkley Center from 1976 – 1983.
