Application materials for the CEHS Scholarly Enhancement program are attached and are also being posted on the web. The application timeline for this year is: April 15, 2011 (Chair Nominations) and April 22, 2011 (Scholars). You should feel free to contact Beth Doll with any questions that you might have about the program or if you would like Beth to discuss the program in more detail with you.

The purpose of the CEHS Scholarly Enhancement Program is to support and enhance scholarship in the College of Education and Human Sciences. Specific objectives are:
· To assist CEHS faculty in focusing and positioning their scholarship
?· To increase CEHS faculty dissemination of research, scholarship, and creative activities

?· To enhance CEHS faculty success in securing funding for research, scholarly and creative activities

There are two program levels — a one year program for Mid-Career faculty and a two year program for Early Career faculty.

Early Career Program purpose: The Early Career Program is designed to increase the success of pre-tenured or not fully promoted faculty in writing for publication; integrating their teaching, research, and outreach; and securing funds to support their scholarship.

Mid-Career Program purpose: The Mid-Career Program is designed to increase the success of mid-career faculty in writing for publication; integrating their teaching, research, and outreach; and securing funds to support their scholarship.
