This is the 15th annual Bull Fry. We choose a recipient from the local community and raise funds through the Bull Fry. We serve hamburgers, hot dogs, bull fries and sides for food. In the past we have had inflatable games, mechanical bull and a rock wall. We are planning on having all those again this year.
The Manner family has multiple recipients in need. Becca Manner is on the waiting list to undergo her 3rd liver transplant thus far with her first transplant at age 8. Becca has also undergone other surgeries to correct other complications. The mother also needs hip surgery. As well, the sister Natalie, will need a hip replacement in the near future. The mother has been raising the family alone for a number of years now and funding has run out. There have been no previous fundraisers for this family.
The Bull Fry will be on Wednesday, April 16 from 4:00 to 8:00 (if there is rain then there will be a half hour delay, so it will be 4:30 to 8:00 if there is rain) just east of the sand volleyball court on east campus. In case of rain it will be held in the animal science arena. We are charging $7 per person for food and $5 per person for games. We also offer a package deal for $10 per person for both food and games. If you have a valid UNL ID we will only charge you $8 for the package or $5 for food.
