University of Nebraska James B. Milliken and Executive Vice President and Provost Linda Pratt invite you to meet the candidates for the founding executive director of the Buffett Early Childhood Institute.
Each candidate will make brief remarks and will answer questions. An informal reception will follow.
The Buffett Early Childhood Institute is a university-wide, multidisciplinary research, education, outreach, and policy center that seeks to transform the approach to early childhood development and education in Nebraska and across the nation. Focused attention will be given to children from birth to age eight at greatest risk due to poverty, abuse, and developmental learning, behavioral, and physical challenges. It was made possible by a generous gift from Omaha philanthropist Susie Buffett.
