Presentations on Blended and Mobile Learning

Journalism professor Scott Winter, and Sydney Brown, Blended Learning Coordinator, will discuss how current blended learning strategies and ultimately the redesign of Journalism 101, a large-enrollment course, as a “blended” course, with both face-to-face and online class time, will address both pedagogical and departmental goals as well as a number of practical issues.

Drawing from her extensive research into mobile learning in a variety of settings, Business professor Fiona Nah will highlight implications for classroom teaching, including unique opportunities for mobile technology afforded by the blended classroom.
