CYFS Hosting Early Childhood Summit April 25
The Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools and the Buffett Early Childhood Institute will host the 2012 CYFS Summit on Research in Early Childhood April 25 in Lincoln.
The summit will feature more than a dozen presentations from CYFS faculty and affiliates currently conducting research on early learning and development, family engagement, professional development, and the economic impacts of early intervention. Subsequent small-group discussions will give attendees opportunities to address connections among early childhood research, practice and policy.
The Nebraska Head Start State Collaboration Office will host a pre-summit Infant-Toddler Teaching Forum April 24.
Registration for both events is open through April 11 or until space is filled.
