The Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery will have special open hours on Saturday, March 15 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The story of Japan’s influence on fashion design is presented through a look at Japanese motifs and coloration, Japanese handcrafts, and world famous Japanese designers. Dr. Barbara Trout curates objects from Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design’s Historic Costume collection, featuring gifts from Kathryn Ericksen Lohr and artifacts from the Jay Rich collection.
