The Buros Center for Testing is hosting a lecture on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 1:30 – 2:45 p.m. in room 105 TEAC. The lecture is being given by Dr. Barbara Plake, director emeritus of the Buros Center. The title of her lecture is “Assessment…with a Touch of Class” and focuses on ensuring the technical quality of classroom assessments.
Dr. Plake is also presenting the first webinar in Buros’ Decoding the Standards webinar series the day after her lecture, April 10, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:15 p.m. CDT. The webinar is titled “Overview of 2014 Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing.” The webinar is free to those not seeking CE credit ($20 for CE credit).
