The annual Critical Issues Forum, hosted by UNL’s Department of Educational Administration, explores various ways students are impacted by poverty. The forum also provides an avenue for educators, administrators, service providers, organizations and community members to discuss strategies and examine ways to assist these students in overcoming barriers to academic achievement.

The 2016 Forum will discuss poverty issues related to public policy, faith-based and non-profit service organizations, higher education, and diversity in education.

The 2016 Forum is being organized by Dr. Shavonna Holman, Dr. Marilyn Grady, Dr. Katherine Najjar, and Minette Tuliao. For more information, please email Dr. Marilyn Grady (mgrady1@unl.edu).
