CYFS director Susan Sheridan and Amanda Witte, CYFS project manager, will lead a free webinar titled ““Family-School Partnerships: Evidence-Based Foundations and an Exemplar for Practice” on Friday, Dec. 9 from 2-3 pm Central Standard Time.
The webinar will provide a research-based presentation on family-school partnerships, with emphasis on their empirical support, integration into school-based services, and structural and relational elements.
Sheridan and Witte will share additional information on Teachers and Parents as Partners (TAPP), a partnership intervention with extensive empirical support. They will also share information on the availability of specialized training and certification.
The webinar is hosted by Division 16 of the American Psychological Association, and continuing education credits are available.
