Directions: From the town of Halsey. go 1 mile west on highway 2 until you reach the Nebraska National Forest entrance. Enter the forest and follow the signs until you reach the 4-H Camp.

The 20th annual “Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW)” is a program designed to encourage women to become active participants in the great outdoors. Classes include activities related to hunting, archery, fishing, camping, Dutch oven cooking, canoeing, kayaking, photography and a lot more.
The three-day workshop gives women 18-years and older the opportunity to enjoy the rugged Nebraska Sandhills and the majestic Nebraska National Forest at Halsey while learning the skills associated with a variety of outdoor activities.
The workshop will be held September 30 - October 2. Participants will stay at the 4-H Camp at the Nebraska National Forest which is known for its aesthetic setting, comfortable facilities and excellent food service.
