One word best describes the canyons of West Texas: remote. If you’re seeking a real adventure, you won’t find a better choice for spring break. Spend multiple days on the river, no resupplies or stops at restaurants in between the put in and the take out. Paddle in the tight canyons forged by iconic watersheds of the
remote desert and explore side canyons or remains of villages long past. Find something worth telling stories about when you return from the break.
Given the remoteness and challenging rapids of this trip participants must be in good physical condition and have a positive state mind.
$495 for Campus Recreation members.
$575 for non-members.
