Tony is the author of LIKE NOTHING ON THIS EARTH: LITERARY HISTORY OF THE WHEATBELT (University of Western Australia Publishing, 2017). He has published widely on Australian literature and cultural history and served as co-editor of Westerly, a literary journal devoted to Australian and Asian writing and culture. His publications include articles on Willa Cather, James Fenimore Cooper, Kim Scott, and settler colonialism
