University Health Center will hold Health Care 101 sessions to provide UNL students with the tools to be educated health care consumers.
Health Care 101 will include:
•why health care providers ask you certain questions
•how to schedule an appointment
•the importance of being on time
•continuity of medical care
•how to use the UHC
Health Care 101 will be held at the following locations at 5 p.m.:
•Oct. 11: Abel/Sandoz Welcome Center - Mari’s Lounge
•Oct. 12: HSS Conference Rooms - HSS Dining
•Oct. 19: CPN - Neihardt Blue TV Lounge
•Oct. 20: Selleck Presidential Dining Room
These talks will be given by UHC providers and nurses. Health Care 101 is a part of the UHC health care literacy campaign.
